Reliance Surfaces is seeking a Web Developer with strong skills in full
stack web development, digital image processing, and applied AI to build and maintain
our customer facing digital platforms and internal tools. The role qualifies as a specialty
occupation requiring at least a bachelor’s degree with 1+ years of experience or Masters
equivalent.
Key Responsibilities
● Design, develop, and maintain responsive company websites, product catalogs,
and customer portals using modern web technologies (e.g., React, JavaScript
frameworks, Node.js and back end APIs).
● Build image heavy UI features such as stone galleries, 3D/AR visualizers, and
interactive quote/ordering flows tailored to granite products.
● Implement digital image processing workflows for slab images, edge profiles,
and kitchen/bath layouts (e.g., image enhancement, segmentation, feature
detection, and automatic cropping).
● Integrate AI models (e.g., recommendation, similarity search, computer vision) to
power features such as “find similar stone,” automatic tagging of slabs, and AI
assisted design suggestions.
● Develop and maintain secure RESTful APIs and database schemas (SQL/NoSQL)
to store project, inventory, and customer data.
● Collaborate with sales, design, and operations teams to translate business
requirements into technical specifications and product features.
● Ensure website performance, SEO, accessibility, and cross browser compatibility
for all user facing applications.
● Implement analytics and tracking to measure user behavior and conversion on
the company’s digital properties, and iterate based on data.
● Write technical documentation for systems, APIs, and workflows that
demonstrate the specialized nature of the role and support immigration filings.
Required Qualifications
● Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical
Engineering, Data Science, or a closely related STEM field.
● Strong experience in web development, including JavaScript (and at least one
modern framework such as React, Angular, or Vue), CSS, and responsive design.
● Hands on experience in back end development using languages such as Node.js,
Python, Java, or similar, plus REST API design and integration.
● Demonstrated experience in digital image processing (e.g., OpenCV, scikit image,
Pillow, or similar libraries) and computer vision concepts.
● Experience applying AI/ML techniques to real‐world problems (e.g., using
TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar frameworks; building or integrating trained
models).
● Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or
NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) and data modeling.
● Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‐functionally with non
technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
● Experience with e-commerce platforms, quotation tools, or custom product
configurators.
● Familiarity with CAD, BIM, or design tools used in construction/interiors, or
previous experience in construction, interiors, or manufacturing domains.
● Experience optimizing media heavy websites (image compression, CDNs,
caching).
● Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for deploying web and AI
services.
